fishinfreak,The place for you to get parts is Certified Parts Corp. 1-800-356-0777. You can call and ask for Vern with technical questions. This company bought Eska back in the 80's. These outboards were made with Tecumseh motors. I hope that this info can help you.

The motor is starving for gas. Check for dirt in the carb, blocked jets maybe. The float may also be stuck. These motors are known for carb problems.

i bought a carb rebuild kit and will hope for the best. The person said that it sounded like the fuel element pump broke.
