Hey! This will wake em up. I like Bonny Doon Winery! I hit them up in Paso Robles. There are some places that carry their stuff in Santa Barbara and Ventura. I like the fish wine with the secret map of Italy on the inside of the lable. Cardinal Zin. Big House Red and of course the Frambois and the Blue berry stuff (havn't seen it in a while). I just got the news letter, havn't read it yet.
So flame me you bastards!!!<:o))

so have you been to the B.D. winery outside santa cruz? it has the same attitude as the lables, etc. cool place to visit, in the redwoods. then drive on up the road to david bruce's new place to eat some pinot....
Great value winery with an ecentric winemaker. they have had their share of great press over the years and have had some wonderful wines. I really enjoyed the '94 cigar volant but have been underwhelmed by the vintages since. I read somewhere (never tasted) that his most expensive wine selling for over $200 is named sucatash bescause he liked the idea of wealthy people acting pompous having to order a bottle of sucatash to the sommelier. Certaninly tremendous value in most of their bottles- and I do share your appreciation for the cardinal zin. I believe the vin de glacier is a staple at most restaurants as an inexpensive dessert wine. good stuff.
I am looking for bonny doon dessert wines but can't seem to locate any. Does anyone know where I can order it over the net or by phone?
