Wanted to send my brother a bottle of wine back to Australia for Christmas; a 1997 Marcelina cabernet sauvignon. Not available in Oz.Which is why I am seriously disappointed to find that I can't do it, and I have no idea why. The attitude to shipping wine here in the USA baffles me.
Sorry, just needed to vent a bit.
I'd also appreciate any suggestions on workarounds. So far, the response seems to be to declare it as, say, maple syrup. Which could get terribly amusing if the thing gets X-rayed.
