I'm always surprised when the cheaper wines win our blind wine tastings.
Follow Ups:
I was more intrigued by the same wine being presented as different wines.
And for the white vs. red tasting, not sure how hard it would be to add food coloring to get a believable result.
Have you done either at your tastings?
As for the cheap vs. expensive, yes it is definitely an old game.
...done any of those experiments.
Some in the group are more interested in finding the next terrific $15 bottle of wine.
I'm just looking for new wines I like.
