I belong to several mailing lists and clubs, so a lot of my wine comes from them.

As for stores, Costco gets most of my business. Also, there is a large chain store in Houston called Spec's. Their flagship is downtown. A HUGE selection but you need to know your stuff because their staff doesn't. They do have a couple of noted expert buyers but you hardly ever see them on the floor.

I do business with Spec's direct competitor. They have 22 (give or take) retail stores throughout Tx. They bought more wine form me at one time than any other outlet.
And haven't sold squat.
Stunningly poor job. Makes me want to think about doing something else for a living!
