The Bedrock line is pretty good and, last time I was in, was in stock at Vintage Berkeley on College Ave.
I love Ridge zins, at retail now should be a good one: their East Bench Zinfandel, about 30 bucks.
It's a bit of a platitude, but Cakebread's zin is better, to me, than their cab!
Grgich is good zin, too.
Caymus zin is another good one.

Bedrock is good - in fact I'm going to a zinfandel dinner later in March and the winemaker will be there along with a few others.
I didn't think Caymus zin was available except at the winery.
as well as Novy.
Should have mentioned Carlisle! One of my favorite producers.
