try right clicking on the taskbar-if the LOCK THE TASKBAR has a check in front of it left click to unlock it and then you can drag and drop to your hearts content- you can also adjust how many icons you want to show by sliding the dot bar right or left the others then remain hidden until you click on the double arrow >>. Then go ahead and lock the taskbar again
