When I exit out of the "Setup" screen it asks me if I want to save the changes and I click "Yes". My computer is a recent Dell: 2.8GHz, 2002 version of XP Pro. w/ Service Pack 2 installed. I don't know what the motherboard is. Yes, my computer recognizes and says it has the extra memory I installed. Thanks for your continuing help.
