I enjoy wine sufficiently to drink a glass or two every day. In my collection I do have some very nice albeit modest bottles.

However, I have been impressed with the "cube" wines at Target, particularly the whites but the reds are still very drinkable. At a recent sale, I purchased a half dozen 3 litre boxes at $16/each.

When giving dinner parties, I like to serve wines by carafe only. It precludes one's prejudging what they are being offered. Perhaps devilishly I enjoy mixing the selection, including an occasional Target box variety with selections costing a great deal more. So far, the whites have received very good reviews. Personally I find cheaper reds more difficult to mask as something other than what they are but for a glass of wine with lunch the Target reds are good and the box format keeps them much longer than one would expect from an opened bottle.
