You've tasted '97s and '96s repeatedly from Parcé, usually the same ones at the same tastings at which I've had them. We know those are not good examples - they're surprisingly mediocre in '96, and a lot of people there made mediocre '97s. OTOH, the '95s were a good lot, as were the '94s, and Parcé's '93s were and are outstanding. So I think you're full of bunk. Bunk, I say. Parcé's best Collioures have come in the '90s, not from earlier times. They've made good Collioure and great Banyuls for a long time, but the dry wines picked up from the '88 to '95 vintages.

I've followed Parcé pretty closely since my early days of wine drinking, when Willie Abramsky was the only one in NY selling it.
