Welcome! Need support, you got it. Or share you ideas and experiences.
We bought a 99 Evinrude 4-stroke for a boat that couldn't handle the weight. The first time we took it out, we had laid the motor on the wrong side and couldn't get it started due to oil in the carb. After having it cleaned by the dealer, it started and ran great. We stored it upright for a year or so, then sold it as unused. When the buyer got it home it wouldn't start / had no spark. Does anyone know what could have gone so terribly wrong in this time of storage? Any help would be appreciated as we want to rectify this with the buyer.
