How can I tell what my boat is? Whether it's Stern Drive, Inboard/Outboard, Inbord/Stern Drive, Inboard/outdrive?Thank for the help,

These terms describe the same thing. Self contained engine mounted on transom is an outboard. Sterndrive is an inboard engine with an outdrive that looks like the bottom of a outboat motor, the outdirve turns to steer. Inboard engine or v-drive have inboard engine that has a shaft that goes through hull to prop, rudder is separate to the prop shaft, prop does not steer.
