Hello,I recently got into fishing and just a few days purchased a SeaHawk 500. What I need to know is this a reliable boat? It is 31 mils thick and has 3 air chambers and is also 12ft. Is this thick enough or will it be punctured easily? I also wanted to know whether should invest in trolling motor (used/new) and if so what accesories do I need also? I'd appreciate any help.

my friend and i have a seahawk 500 that we use to fish off of in king harbor (redondo beach, cali). we have a minnkota trolling motor and a deep cycle 12v battery to power it. you can check it out on my website: http://www.ishigooka.com/projects/fish/ghettoraft2.htm
