The local want ad digest has a fiberglass 12' gamefisher w/ trolling motor for sale for $300. My knowledge of these thing is poor but the kid wants to fish. I take it that these boats are not in production anymore and in fact have been around along time. Supposely its in good shape as is the trolling motor which is about 15 years old and cost about $200 at the time. It's a two hour plus drive to see it so any help would be appreciated.

well, I have a 14 foot game fisher, I love it, Paid 400 for the boat, trailor( with busted lights ) a 7.5 johnson gas /w 2.5 gal tank , a 40lbt minikota troller with foot pedal control and a very tired marein batt. also inckuded was a wide optic fish finder. Only drawback was a hole in the center of the boat on the keal, I spent 15 bucks on figerglass, made a patch that will outlive the boat in 20 minutes and was on the water the next day. I would recomend this boat, seams very tough, and fiberglass repair is easy. I recomend this line of boats.

I have a 14 foot gamefisher with a 15 hp gamefisher motor and trailer. I gave 600.00 for the complete outfit with trailer in excellent cond. They are made of molded fiberglass. Tough as nails. I had to spray mine with clear enamel sealer. the glass will make you itch where you touch it. This is easy to fix. they are bare bones boats. no frills. I have mine decked out with floors and trolling motor and seats etc. the boats alone cost around 750.00 new w/o motor or any thing. T.G.
