Im very interested in getting a seadoo explorer. they look very interesting, i have just a few q's for anyone who might own one... are they fast? is it possible to pull a skiier with one? are they fairly easy to manouver? do they have alot of problems or is it fairly easy to maintain them? my price range is about $5-6,000 and im having a hard time finding an explorer at this price that im sure will be in good condition. if anyone has any info for me id GREATLY appreciate it! thanks
I have a 1994 Seadoo Explorer for sale that is in excellent shape that I am looking to sell and I am open to price discussions. It will easily pull a skier and tubing is amazing. It runs about 40 mph and will turn on a dime, carry 4 people very comfortably and pack camping gear or lunch to boot.... It is easy to maintain and I have a shop maintenance manual for it as well. Maintenance is straight forward, plugs, good battery, annual lube and occational gas line filter. Let me know if you need more info or pictures.
I've got a 1994 Explorer for sale as a matter of fact. The will run at about 35 to 40 mph with its Rotax twin Cyl. 2-Stroke, depending on the altitude of the water you're running on. As far a manueverable they can turn on a dime and are easily parked at dock side.As far as maintanence goes, this boat has been no problem what so ever. Just replace the spark plugs every year or so and keep the battery charged, you will have no problems.
Hello,
I have a 1997 explorer. The problem is that it takes on alot of water when at rest and does not seem to drain when underway. Also it seems to lack the zip it used to have even with new plugs. Any suggestions?
