Welcome! Need support, you got it. Or share you ideas and experiences.
I have a 70 HP Evinrude outboard on the back of 24' pontoon boat. The engine starts and runs flawlessly. However, if I run it at full throttle for 10 or fifteen minutes the engine dies. I tested the engine and the reason it dies is because there is no spark. If I let it sit for a while the engine starts again and runs but dies if run at full throttle for a similar length of time. I am guessing that some component is heating up and shutting the ignition down, but I have not idea which component it is. The engine feels cool and is definetly not overheating. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jessie

Hi Jessie,Maybe the best way to help you get an answer on your outboard motor problem is to direct you elsewhere... http:///www.boatdoctor.com has a site with a Forum and Ask a Tech headers. You will have to formally log on but this site may provide the information you need to keep running.
Good luck!
Possibly you are getting AIR in the gas lines. Check all gas lines from the tank all the way through the motor.
