I am currently restoring what I believe to be a mid 1970's Sears fiberglass boat. I think it is the Ted williams model, althought it doesn't appear anywhere on it. I am missing the lid to the livewell in the middle of the boat. I have the sears model number if that would help. Just wondering if anybody's got a clue where I could put my hands on a one of those lids, or a full boat for parts.

I had the same problem. I crafted a new lid from 1/2 in. plywood and covered it in aluminum Seems that these lids were bad to blow out of the boats while being trailered. as for the boat , it is probably 1980's and should say gamefisher on the transom

Manuals needed for boat and motor.
Need windshield and wiring harness.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Crockett

On my 12' f/g gamefisher (Ted Williams) the livewell cover is a padded plywood seat. I'm sure it was a replacement, but it works great.

I have a 14 foot Gamefisher, mine is an 84 white hull with bluegreen seats. I was also missing the lid. Seems that they were just a pop in plastic cooler type lid. They usually blew out along the highway somewhere. I fashioned a lid from 3/4 in plywood and aluminum. cut a thumbhole in the lid so I could open it easily without having a handle sticking up. Doubt if you'll ever find an origional.,TG
