My 64K memory card died with a system error after I took a pic yesterday and now won't boot up or display a thing. Luckily, I had a couple spares to use that work fine.
Has anyone had one die? Can they be revived? I've got a card reader at home that I'm hoping will be able to read and reformat it. There's some pics that I'd like to get off of it.
Anyway, is it dead and gone and just confused? I think that I can return it foir a new one if it's hopeless. The camera is a Nikon 990.

When they visit down under.A quick fix is to use your camera upside down while you are here.....Hic.......scuse.
