Thursday afternoon, I'll crush the first grapes (1 ton of Pepper Bridge Merlot) for my new label, Trust.
Four years ago, we quit our jobs, moved the family across three time zones, went back to school, and worked menial winery jobs to gain experience. Tomorrow is it.
Wish me luck.

PS If anyone knows any winning lottery numbers, I could use them. I need barrels for next year!!!

Not many have the guts to take such a huge step. But even if you don't make, you can always be proud that you were one of the few to a chance and follow their dream.
And remember the age old saying, " The way to make a small fortune in the wine business is to start with a large one".
