Me and my wife really liked this. Our limit is about $7 a bottle and this is one of the best we've had for this price. Smoky, deep, raspberry and integrated. It says chocolate in the description but we couldn't quite pick up on that one.

Follow Ups:
for a nice cheapy I like the little penguin Cabernet S, and
the Turning Leaf Pinot N. 2002 reserve, both are about $7 bucks. The penguin disappears quickly when ever I bring it out, the turning leaf is a little harder to find so I hide it.

Try Rosemount Estates diamond label Shiraz.
It is about that price.

Probably the best inexpensive Shiraz I have had.
I would even say best under $20.
