  Try Chaddsford Winery in Delaware County. They have 2 festivals a year that are big fun. Jazzfest and Bluesfest. They are both days of hanging out, listening to music, drinking wine and eating. They have really good wines.

  I have not been to the other wineries in the area, but I have had wine from the New Hope Winery. The one that I had was not to my taste.

  There are over a dozen wineries in your time/distance frame. Hey, this weekend there is a festival at Unionville Vineyards about 45-60 minutes away.

  Heck, there's a winery outlet store selling William Penn white in the Italian Market.

  Alex,

  Try the Newtown, New Hope areas. They are Philly suburbs, about 30 minutes from NorthEast Philly. There are a couple of pretty good ones there. At least that is what I heard from someone who has given me the wine bought from there to drink.
