How long can one store Marsala wine after it is opened and how
should it be stored - refrigerated, etc. I bought it to cook
with and don't know much about wine.

I don't think you even need to refrigderate this if your house does not go about 75 degree F.
I cook a lot with Marsala and have never had it spoil on me.
I use one bottle about every six months.
For me it's like port a fortified wine. I don't refridgerate my port and it still tastes fantastic after 6 months or more being open.

In fridge and closed. It will be at its best for 6 weeks and will be acceptable for use for another 6. That's 3 months. You can still use it after that, but it will have lost freshness and fresh ingredients are always better, n'cest pas?
