  I finally tried these. My humble opinions:

  The Merlot was pretty harsh and nasty - alcoholic finish and BOLD taste. The Sauv Blanc and the Chardonnay were way too sweet for my tastes. The Cab - oh the Cab. The 2000 Cab is OK to good. The 99 Cab (if you can still find any) is VERY, VERY good and a bargain even if it were around $8-$10.

  I bought one case of the 99 Cab. If I could find more I would buy 4 or 5 cases, it's that good.
