Australian Shiraz, 2001. retailing around here for about $12....the most chocolate-like flavor in a wine I've ever tasted. Highly recommended for the value.Jim
These are some of the best wines for the money that I have tried. I bought all I could fine locally which was 6-2001 Shiraz, 6-2001 Sarah's Blend, and 2-2001 Cabernet. All for 15.99 each. Have had 1 shiraz and 1 sarahs.Sarah's Blend: nose: plummy-blackberry-raisin, short-bready-caramel mouth: soft blackberry-plum liqour, nicely integrated with a hint of oak and leather; luscious
Shiraz: nose: blackberry, slight raspberry, with chocolate and black pepper with very slight clove mouth: berry fruit with tobacco and leather, soft oak at end; Bravo!
Try their Holly's Blend too. A great white at a great price. 11.99.nose: apple with a stony mineralness into slight grassyness mouth: soft, coats the mouth without being sweet, soft finish
We tried the '00 "Sarah's Blend." It was super! The 2001 Shiraz is supposed to be dynamite. Will get some and let you know.

Their 2000 merlot is also a great value. Sounds like these guys know their red wine.
