hi out there. i would like to host a beaujolais wine party for the new year. But I do not know ANYTHING about this wine. I have heard that you can actually get vintage beaujolais - and that it is very good.Could anyone recommend a couple of different brands, vintages in moderate price ranges ($12 to $25)?
Does anyone have an information source for me, I'm also needing advice about what to pair with various wines.

Thanks for the link.
I had heard the food show on KCRW/Evan Klineman, good show. She interviewed some wine shop owner(french dude) about N.boujolais. He stated they have to be drank before Feb of 2002, the 2001. They release them with 10wks in the bottle. He said you can put them down if you don't drink them but you have to wait for a couple of years.
At my local wine shop (other than trader joe's), Mandels, I've seen year old Neuvo for sale. The dude on the radio says you should have fair warning.
Anyway the stuff is as serious as soda pop, it goes for $8 in my zone. It's suposed to be giggly fun. I've done it for the past 5yrs and havn't been disapointed.
I've been off the Cab for about 6yrs, but I've fell of the wagon for blends and Bordoux.
