If that bottle was stored in the cave where it was made it would only be a novelty. I found a bottle of Pol Roger 59 on its side in a walk in fridge in some little store about 12 years ago and it had enough bubble to last maybe 5 minutes and the wine was extremely oxidized. I doubt the cold damp fridge was a big help because it hardens the corks. I have had older champagne that was perfectly kept when I attended a Krug verticle. The wine was all in magnums and the oldest was a 62. It was getting very nutty and the color getting yellow. Great stuff though! That was a great tasting. If I was you I would have a Champagne party with your guests bringing Tete Cuvees and give everyone a chance to taste something rare.
