It is listed as AOC in both Sotheby's and Oxford. You may have a more difficult time proving that the wine, itself, is AOC controlled. Another way of handling this would be to purchase a bottle of Coteaux du Laguedoc (eg. Peyre Rose or something similar) from your local liquor store and show it to the ATF. Precedent usually works in these cases.
