How about (if spelling is correct) Delierium Nocturnum, again VERY dark and it is like you are drinking ink. But you get a great effect after drinking one.
Follow Ups:
Delerium makes two beers, the Tremmens, a tripple, or blonde ale @~9+% alc. a VERY good beer and has been reated as one of the best world wide by many. THe second, Nocturnum, id a Double, or Dark, not quite as high on the alc. but a very good dbl. if you really like the dark beers, try Deep Shaft Stout, St. Peter's Porter, and Youngs Vintage - a bottle aged wonder that is great, these three are english and except for the St. Peters are avail. in SF, CA.P.S. Regarding a beer asylum, check out: http://www.bottledbeer.co.uk/
happy tippling
Came across St Peter's Porter in a restaurant in Charleston, SC. Only in the bottle. It didn't fit any description of a porter that I could remember tasting. So it's probably authentic. And that explains while it only comes in a bottle. The restaurant also had O'Hara's Stout, on draft. Very nice. Less sour than Guiness, of course. Head not as persistent either.
Any luck having a yeast-related site here?
have you ever tried AVINGER Celebrator?
great Beer taste like coffe, chocolate, and a very strong malt taste....very, very good
Although the Huyghe brewery may have put out another one by the name you note. Delerium Tremens is a very, very fine brew and one which sadly is not available in my town at this point. Very potent and earthy...I miss it.
What kind of effect? Please tell!
Well, it might have something to do with the pink elephants on the bottle's label...
