I know lots about the famous Barolo wines.
These wines are frome the Piedemonte wine district in Italy and are ranked among the top wines of Italy(as well as being greatly appreciated throughout the world). The grape variety use in these wines is Nebbiolo. The wines are full boddied, lots of intens and ripe fuitflavours. However they do tend to be quite rich in tannins, which develops beautifully with age. A "young" Barolo will never live up to expectations and will appear to "dry". I never drink Barolo`s of less then 5 years aging. In case you are wondering about anything else, please send us a question.
