I live right near NYC, the other day my buddies took me along with them to have some wine in a wine bar in NYC called "The Fez". I have to admit I am now turning into a wino hehe. I especially like Lindemans (spelling?) Merlot and Shiraz. And it's pretty cost effective at 8 dollars a bottle. I had some Bin 99 Lindemans at the wine place but I forgot which type of wine it was. That was really good. Since I like Lindemans does anyone know of a good wine for a newbie that costs 15 dollars or under? I want to pleasure my taste buds. Thanks
Follow Ups:
For around ten bucks you can get Rosemount Shiraz (diamond label)
I've also had a decent Cabernet-Shiraz by Penfolds on their Koonunga Hills label. You might find more extensive information on the Wine Spectator magazine website. Good hunting!
The Syrah-Cab blend is also quite nice. It's definately a red wine :)

I just went yesterday to buy some wine. My friend got some Rosemount so I have to check that out next time. Thanks for the recommendation. I bought some Lindemans Bin99 Pinot Noir which I enjoyed at that wine bar. And the Lindemans Shiraz, which I like as well. Thanks again
