Hi,
Look I would really like to know, your answer to the Etiquette question, posted below, some time ago.
If you arrange a special dinner, what convention says you should serve the wine that your guests bring?
What would you do?
Please tell me this is not true?
Any offers?

Mike, I've had plenty of dinner parties where I had the wine picked out. Never have I felt the need to pour a wine that a guest brought as a gift. I suppose if they brought it as an addition to the dinner I would pour it, but I wouldn't worry about it. You figure if they don't come back big deal, and if it's going to upset someone that much, then they're bound to tell you anyway. Point being, don't sweat it and pour what you want.
Lee,
Thank you,
Mike.S.
