Is anyone familiar with replica RS4 wheels? The ones that I have seen are supposedly made in Italy, and priced from $150--$200 each. Are they too "cheap" to be any good? I hope I am not offending any Audi owners, but I would want to put these on my 2000 Passat GLX.

Also, I am looking for a set of summer tires; but it seems as though all of the summer tires that I can find are ultra high performance. I am a very mundane driver--I want something that is quiet with a comfortable ride; and has the ability to handle emergency maneuvers.

Thanks!

I have not heard much about the replica wheels... if made in Italia, they could be made my Mile Miglia (sp?).

If you keep an eye out on various B5 forums, you can find someone selling a used set of the real thing. I got a set of S4 wheels from a local S4 owner who was moving up to 18s.

A good all round tire that I can reccomend are the Continental Extreme Contact... they are a reasonbly priced high perf all season tire (OE tire in Europe on some Porsche and Audi's).
