7.5 gamefisher fuel pump flooding carb?

I have a gamefisher 7.5; keeps flooding the carb, if you pinch the hose the damm thing will run good till the carb bowel runs out.
I've rebuilt everything from the water to the pull rope, except the fuel pump. Yes the float is set right, everything is new, and even with the float set all the way to the bowel it still floods.
My question is, can that little fuel pump be putting to much pressure on the needle and seat? I've never run across this before, but then again, never owned a gamefisher. I would replace the pump but I can't find one, sears was a dead call, and Tecumseh dont make that carb no more (single idle screw).

Well found the trouble, took a tech manual to show that there is a rubber balloon valve in the carb housing. this controls the pumping action for the fuel pump, mine was missing, and pumping high pressure into the carb from the crankcase, (could be why I got the engine for $50.00). Runs fine now, good idle, good pickup.

I hope I can help. First remove you float bowl and just let the float dangle. Now before you do anything notice the area at the float hinge where it attaches to the carb body. There will be a small pin holding the float to the body. gently lift the float,and notice the pin under the float hinge. It should move freely up and down when the float is lifted and released. this shiny pin is what stops the fuel flow when the float is raised. If it is not moving it is stuck and will have to be cleaned. This procedure is as follows: Remove the carb from the motor take it to a workbench or table spread out a shop towel(to catch parts) gently hold the float assembly and push out the pin that holds the float to the body. now a small chrome pin and a spring should fall out when the float is removed. Gently scrape and sand this pin if necessary to remove the crud.Soak the carb in cleaner for about an hour or more.(overnite is best)With a small stiff wire clean the hole that the pin goes in. reassemble and check for free movement. The float should dangle slightly below level (abt 1/8 inch or so)hook up a fuel line and check to see that it stops the flow when raised. Repeat above till it works right. Or you could take your serial number and model number to a Mercury Force dealer and 100.00 and buy a new carb. Please print and read this carefully. Follow it exactly. Goodluck and smooth sailing. I had a similure problem with my johnson 15, It was spraying gas out a vent on the side of the carb. My float was sticking.
I would tear your carb apart again, and verify the float is working, as well as the needle valve, When I had mine apart, I blew into the fuel in port to verify the float and needle were working.
I dont know what you mean by " the float is set all the way to the bowl" but it dosent sound right. wile sitting like it was mounted on the motor, the float should hang down a little, to allow gas to enter, but it should shut the gas off when it becomes horizontal.
I dout it is your fuel pump. If it is flooding the carb it is working. those things get weaker with age, not stronger.
