Just this month I've begun shopping there. Some decent food bargains, but wondering how decent their wines are. I bought a Pinot Grigio there that was ok for $7. They have quite selection of wine under $20. Any suggestions?
Follow Ups:
You will be better served by purchasing wine from Trader Joe's than from Aldi. At the under ten dollar price range, I cannot recommend any of their wines.
Daily drinkers come from Aldi. But they come from France, Chile, Spain, Sicily, Italy, and form Australia and NZ.
With a few exceptions, like 1 litre bottles from our very own wine lake.
For special occasions? We mostly drink wines from the well regarded Canberra Wine District. Plus a few from the Hunter Valley, like aged dry Semillon. Which is a uniquely Australian style of big-flavoured dry white. And they benefit from age.
For stickies, NE Victoria and SE NSW which are contiguous.

I shopped @ Aldi's years ago when making frequent visits to Iowa, but we don't have them in my area.
The blog is a good one, IMO.
It seems like a good place to begin. I forwarded the website to a wine critic I know. Will be interesting to get his feedback.
