some 2009/2010 Bordeaux over the past year and a half.
Only one of the 2010 Bord's is ready for this coming New Year, and I'll save the Burgundy for 2017+.
I found some 2013 Landmark Overlook Pinot @ our local Pavilions, which is good to go for this coming Thanksgiving, but I'd still like to add a few Zin's to the mix.
I'll probably go with Ridge (3V's) as it's consistent, not keen on any of the rave reviewed Dry Creek Zin's I've sampled in the past year+ due to off/funky flavors.
The Landmark is also funky, but I like this with Pinot (not Zin).
I no longer collect wine and/or drink it on a daily basis (only on special occasions), so drinking it has become even more special in a way.
Follow Ups:
...some 2012 Cypher Zin Bitch from Paso Robles at BevMo in No CA for $25.
Nice zin for the price.
For Ridge, I usually like their Lytton Springs.
Cypher got me thinking Rhone Rangers and I ended up buying a few of the inexpensive Beckmen bottlings.
