I went to ZAP years ago....during the trade portion. People were already getting drunk and dropping glasses....at the trade event!
I spit the whole time and was still getting hammered. Not the wines for me.
I can't imagine what the consumer tasting would be like
...I went maybe 20 years ago with a buddy and I'm not sure how he drove us home across the Bay. Once I got home I had to throw up - probably the last time I drank so much that's happened.I love zinfandel but I've never been interested in going back.
