I remember when I was at CNN (we were owned by Time Warner at the time) and they announced that AOL woo deb acquiring us. It made no sense to me, but I figured that the folks in suits must know what they are doing.
Not so much.
Who knows why all these companies buy only to turn around and sell. Even established companies seem to only be desirable until stock starts to fluctuate.
Lawyers and in this case, bankers, always win.

I'm way too small. I do have a standing offer from a larger winery in town to buy my brand. Wold not be enough to retire on, but maybe some day
