How often do you go to winery dinners?

Of course, being in Houston, we don't get to go to the actual winery for events but we do get winery dinners at local restaurants.

Just reserved dinner with Bedrock Winery at one of my favorite local restaurants.

The local restaurant with a wine shop does wine dinners every month and 3 of us usually go to the zinfandel dinner every year.

Ordinarily there are 5 different winemakers who are there refilling your glasses during the dinner.

This year they did only Bedrock with 5 of their different zinfandels.

We passed.

While I like Bedrock and have been buying their zins for the past 3 or 4 years, the fun of the event was discovering and comparing new ones.

Like Gamba - whose wife is a babe and sat across from us one year.

My buddy kept dropping his pen on the floor

We bought lots of their zin.
