...we were in Santa Cruz over the weekend and stopped into Joe Miller's winery - it used to be Hillcrest Terrace but he had to change the name so now it's Rexford.

Remember I met you there a few years ago and Joe used to post on AA.

The place was packed with people and the wine has improved tremendously, especially his pinot noir.

Check it out if you get down there this summer.

Damn,how time flies.

We should be back in Carmel the middle of August. May do a wine country trip again. Any new winery stops you can recommend?

  ...some friends were in Carmel Valley a couple of weekends ago and were surprised to see all of the wineries there.
  
  Talbot, Bernardus and a few others.
  
  Downtown Oakland/Alameda has over a half dozen wineries including Dashe, Rosenblum and Rockwall (Rosenblum's daughter).
