...I mentioned this on another forum but hesitated to post it here until I actually tasted it.
The 2009 cabernet sauvignon at Trader Joe's with a big "C" on the label for $19.95 is supposedly a Pine Ridge cab priced at near $60 they bought and bottled.
Two people at different Trader Joe's have told me it's from Pine Ridge.
It is really an excellent cab - and for the price worth buying as much as you can find.

Got Novy's Four Mile Creek red. Really good Syrah,Grenache, Zinfandel blend. I got it through their mailing list where they offered it at a discount, around $10 net. They made quite a bit of it so you should be able to get it in California.
I swing by in the next few days and see if they have it.

...remind me when it gets closer and I'll try to schedule a weekend in Santa Cruz.There are some pretty interesting wine tasting spots there now.
