Interesting pricing at Costco

Picked up a 2006 Barolo from Costco for $41. Their plaque showed it getting 93 from WS. Got home and looked up the WS review and it released for $90.
I guess there is wine sitting in wineries worldwide.

Was it a Pio Cesare? I picked this up
at Costco but I have not opened it yet.

  Had a 2007 Pio Barbaresco yesterday. Nice but still a bit tannic.

If you are sitting on 2006's especially at that price point, you are hemorrhaging money...at least that's my guess. if you can't move it in China........

  Not bad, but a bit simple. Not worth $41, much less $90.
