of a couple that used to live down the street. House was 3500 sq. ft. moved to 8300 sq. ft.

They were serving Rombauer Cab. to 250 guests.

Guess selling oil tool is a good business right now.

It was good, but they were serving it a bit too chilled.

...chardonnay to your many guests let's them know both that you have arrived and have excellent taste - even more so than your spacious mansion.
Serving their cabernet shows you are a little confused - it's pretty good but doesn't quite have the cachet of say, Opus One or even Stags Leap, not to mention Mondavi, BV and many others known for good cabs.
