How do you guys store your wine?...or do you just buy wine and drink it right off?

My cooler is built into the kitchen island. Mostly red, a few bottles of Champagne and half-bottles of Sauternes on the bottom.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
...Vinotheque wine refrigerator I keep in the garage which I bought in 1991 for about $1800.
Had to replace the refrigeration unit once since then.
It's 7 feet tall, has double doors on the front, stores 750 bottles and I probably have 400-500 in it.
But I like to cellar age my wines, even my pinot noirs for a year or two, zins for up to 5 and cabs for that or more.
I tend to drink the older wines first.
I keep it at about 60 degrees but when it gets hot and the garage heats up, it only keeps the temp 30 degrees below the outside.
Well worth it.
1) Have some room temperature storage cabinets built into bar area for the everyday stuff
2) Have a climate-controlled Eurocave for the reasonably good stuff I want to have handy in case I want it.
3) Have a climate-controlled locker at local retailer ($100/year - a real bargain!) for the stuff I want to hide from myself so I don't drink it on a whim
