...interesting and a big topic currently.

Personally, I'm used to 15%+ alcohol in my zins so that doesn't bother me as long as the wine can support it.

If the first thing I taste in a pinot noir is the alcohol, though, it's not going to do it for me.

It's more about the balance of the wine than the amount of alcohol.
