I've bought three wines now.
Uvaggio Il Lupo Nebbiolo. Two bottles seemed cooked or at least over-ripe.
Stepping Stone by Cornerstone. Not a bad Cab. but on the soft, non-complex side.
Michel Schlumberger "Le Sage" Merlot. The first bottle was slightly corked. Poured it out and opened a second. Not bad, but still a bit one dimensional. But I may still be thinking "cork".
So, I'm thinking this is a place to dump wines not doing well in the tasting rooms.
As Mike (and my Wife) says, "Life is too short to drink mediocre wines".
I'll probably try a couple of more but my hopes aren't high.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment with that source.
There's a wine seller I've bought from in LA that sells discounted wines from various sources. I think they get odd lots directly from vineyards and distributors, usually just a few cases. As a result their inventory is constantly changing and the good stuff sells out quickly. I've never had a problem with any of my purchases there and if I did a return would probably not be a problem. Unfortunately, most don't have such a source nearby.
I might try them too but I hope they're not a factory outlet of sorts. They do look to have some interesting items. If I buy, I'll post the results. Thanks.
Mike
