...me a 2004 Hewitt cabernet to go with the steaks (Costco filets cooked over charcoal in my new Weber kettle XMas present) my daughter requested for her last supper before she goes back to college tomorrow.

Marquis Philips McLaren Vail Shiraz 2008 from Costco. $9 and well worth it.

Also tried the DeLoach Russian River "Green.." Pinot Noir, not bad but not special.

Listened to "The Who, 'Quadrophenia'". Truly exceptional!

Weber Kettle = magic

Similar gig here tonite....costco ribeyes, prawns and potato's on the weber with hardwood charcoal + castle rock pinot noir. Yes the wine was a little light but was tasty from the time I lit the fire thru the end of the meal.
