...and had some of their Ferrari-Carrano 2005 Prevail Back Forty Cab to begin with. Excellent.

I brought a 2005 Turley Hayne zinfandel and a Chasseur 2007 Russian River Valley pinot noir.

The pinot was terrific with the turkey dinner.

I had the '07 zin and p.s. from Hayne in my alotment. Way to pricey for me so I let a buddy of mine have them. Should I invite him over for dinner with a obvious hint as to what to bring?

  ...other than the Turley Estate, the 2005s have been pretty disappointing.
  
  I'm thinking about keeping the '05s and '06s I have for a while and passing onthe newer releases.
  
  Hard to justify an average of $35 when you can pick up a Chiles Vally for $20.
