...(jsm below) in Santa Cruz for his hospitality Sunday (tasting room off of Swift and Mission).

My wife and I met jimbill, his wife and daughter there yesterday - they were on their way to SFO from a week's vacation in Carmel.

Joe poured us some of his wines to taste, but the real stars were his first batch of two locally grown pinot noirs, one just bottled and the other still in the barrel.

And an upcoming zin and merlot.

I'll be going back to pick up a few bottles up next time I'm down there.
