I don't know if this allowed here, but you are invited to stop by my winery, Hillcrest Terrace. We are located on the west side of Santa Cruz. You go out Mission St. to Swift turn south for two blocks and you will find us among five other wineries with tasting rooms including the famous Bonny Doon. We are open every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 pm, but I am usually there on Friday afternoons as well to open the tasting room; I'm the winemaker. We specialize in Pinot Noir, but also have Cab, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay right now. Drop me an email if you want to set up some other time. No tasting charge for AA'ers!

Maybe on our way back to the airport. Flight is 5 pm Sunday. What time would we have to leave your winery to make the flight?
If you are flying out of SFO, allow at least 2.5 hours. On a Sunday afternoon it takes about 1 1/4 hours for me to get there, but then I know exactly where I'm going. If you have a car to turn in and want some extra margin, leaving by 2 pm from Santa Cruz or a hair earlier should be fine. I can't promise you any DRC wines to taste (see my post from last March below), though I have a Pinot in barrel that should provide some interesting comparisons with their less exalted offerings at some point in the futureJoe
