I wasn't sure where to post this request, but I recently upgraded my dinosaur H/P Pavilion from Windows 98 to Windows 2000. The print on all the pages of every website is much smaller than before. Can someone tell me how I can make the print larger? I'm not a computer whiz. Just an old fart trying to learn the basics and my eyes preferred the larger print. Thank you all.
Follow Ups:
Do you see a toolbar near the top of the screen that includes a "View" menu? It also includes "File", "Edit", and others. If so, click on "View", go down the menu, and click on "Text Size".
...hold down the control key while rolling the wheel.
Thanks for the tip, I didn't know that, and very much like it.
Regards,
Lew

I have a feeling you have your display set for a higher resolutionIf you want everything larger (Desktop Icons and such)... Right click on your desktop(away from any icons)~~~choose properties from the menu that appears~~~~~then chose the Settings tab from the window and move the screen resolution slider to the left
You will be asked if you want to keep these settings after a preview. I think this will get you back to where you where with your old computer
Good Luck

"There's someone in my head, but it's not me"
Hold the mouse pointer in the center of the screen
Left click once
Right click now and a drop down menu will pop up
Select PropertiesClick on the "settings" tab
Simply move to a lower resolution by moving the slider to the left
Try 800X600
If that is to big try the next higher resolutionMake sure you select "Apply" after you find one you like
Crack a cold beer and relax now
:)
Thank you all for the great suggestions. I now have the larger print and my eyes like it better.
